Meet our teachers

We have an amazing team of teachers, many of whom have been teaching at the school for several years.

Our teaching method is engaging and dynamic; all our teachers are experienced native speakers, qualified in teaching Spanish as a foreign language.

Many of our teachers also contribute to the school’s on-going, internal support and training.

¡Hola! I’m Andrea from Bilbao, in the north of Spain!

I have a 4-year degree in Spanish Studies from the University of Deusto, which covered linguistics, literature, grammar and the history of the Spanish language and I later qualified as a teacher of Spanish as a Foreign Language.

I am an official DELE examiner (awarded by Institute Cervantes, London) for levels A1 to C2 and since joining Vamos in September 2012, I am also one of the school's academic managers where part of my responsibilities includes the recruitment and training of new teachers.

My teaching style places particular emphasis on the communicative approach and I always want my students to get the most out of their lesson.

I love teaching so much that it hardly feels like a job and I hope you enjoy your course at ¡Vamos!

Enric Sancho

Hola! I am Enric Sancho from Barcelona.

I've always loved to study different languages and learn about other cultures, so 3 years ago I decided to make teaching Spanish my profession and I love it.

I qualified as a teacher at International House London where I learnt about the communicative approach and a few months ago I also qualified as a DELE A1/A2 examiner at Instituto Cervantes in London.

I always aim to make my lessons interesting and enjoyable with cultural tips, so my students travelling to South America and Spain can communicate with native Spanish speakers.

I love teaching Spanish and I'm looking forward to seeing you in my class!

I have studied a master’s degree in Spanish as a foreign language at the University Camilo José Cela in Madrid and I have been working as a Spanish teacher in France, Scotland and Valencia for some years in universities, language academies and in the Instituto Cervantes of Toulouse.

I feel lucky working as a Spanish teacher because I can meet people from different nationalities, I can discuss a lot of interesting topics with them and I can help my students to discover a new culture.

As a teacher I always try to put myself in the skin of my students and prepare the most useful and entertaining lessons for them.

¡Nos vemos pronto!
